On May 21, 2011, Metro Chapter Secretary Bob Triebe was in a very serious motorcycle accident and has been in the hospital ever since. On behalf of the Metro Chapter, I am asking everyone to keep Bob in your thoughts and prayers. Bob spent a great deal of time in the ICU with a series of internal injuries and then he has had to fight off several infections.
Bob is currently in Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick and unfortunately, we must ask that no one go to visit at this point due to the ongoing risk of infection.
Former Chapter President Peter Lanigan has been in constant touch with Bob's family and has been to the hospital to see Bob a few times. Peter has told me that Bob is in good spirits, but really wants to get out of the hospital ASAP.
In order to help lift Bob's spirits, we are asking that you please take a moment to send Bob a card or letter of good wishes; It would mean a great deal to Bob. You may send a letter directly to RWJ Hospital:
